Here you can find some never previously released live recordings with just a few of the bands I worked with in over 20 years of touring the world.
After years of listening to these tapes at home I finally decided it was time other people got to hear them as well.
Featuring: - Everything But The Girl, Prefab Sprout, Fashion, The Bureau, Gina X, The Kane Gang and the never released extra live tracks fromThat Petrol Emotion’s last ever shows.
All these recordings were recorded straight from the out front mixing desk (soundboard) direct to cassette and transferred to digital with the original tape via a creative 24 bit USB sound card and into Sound Forge, edited and turned into 320kbps mp3 files (except the Petrols tracks, which are taken from the original 24 track digital mix's) and all recorded between 1981 and 1994 and are of excellent sound quality.
As with most soundboard recordings the audience level sounds less than it actually was.
Each page has some tracks to listen to before deciding to download any of the zip files (winrar) - if you have trouble listening to the streaming tracks (buffering) just click the play button to pause and leave for a minute to let the track download - all the tracks stream at 128kbps.
All the tracks are meant to be seamless but due to the nature of mp3 files which adds a small silence at the start and end of each file, you may want to edit them before burning to cd to get them playing the way they should be heard.
